Our time in Dnipro is coming to an end.  We met for dinner with a team of church & military chaplain leaders.  Peter accepted the Ukrainian Medal of Honor on behalf of our team for the work done in the country.   The first leg of our journey home began with a seven-hour train ride to Kiev at midnight.  In Kiev, we met with some partners & toured the city. Our hearts are filled with a love for the people of Ukraine & the work that is needed to produce disciples.  Please pray for Ukraine.  Final Post: We arrived home safely & are reacclimating into our lives & culture.  We praise God for the opportunity to serve on this team & the work that He was able to do in and through us.  We are grateful for First Baptist Atlanta for its heart for missions & the many friends & family that supported us through prayer & finances.  May God richly bless you!

On Monday & Tuesday, we presented our workshops.  Peter addressed the topic of starting a counseling ministry & Willie & I spoke on divorce recovery. Divorce recovery is not a topic that is not typically taught in the church. It was a great opportunity to speak the truth from God’s Word. We also had some time in the afternoon, prior to the evening workshops, to visit a ministry installation & a  military hospital. In the evening we dined at the home of a church member. His family was very gracious & the food was delicious.  Below are some photos of our days. It is Thursday.  Olga is presenting her workshop on emotion injury to a local battalion.  We have one more meeting this afternoon with a chaplain prior to our departure tonight. It has been a good trip thus far.  The workshops were well received & the personal counseling appointments were opportunities to present application to the truths we have been sharing.  We had limited time one afternoon t

We enjoyed a full day of ministry today. Rev. Peter taught pt.1 of his Victory in Christ seminar. Willie & Kathy ministered to people with blindness in a local village with Pastor Sergei & Olga led her seminar for chaplains on PTSD. Tomorrow we speak in three local churches. Thank you for praying; please continue to do so. Happy Mother’s Day to all!   On Sunday we visited three churches. Each of us had an opportunity to share. Below are photos from Revival church where Willie preached & I shared my story. It was a great opportunity to glorify Jesus!

The flight to Paris went well. None of us slept very well but we delighted in the beautiful sunrise that greeted this new day! We arrived safely in Paris, The City of Love, & are waiting at the gate for our flight to Kiev. We are grateful to God for His provisions.
